That's a song by Jack Johnson.... so true. I moved here about 8 months ago from Lake Havasu...so I don't know too many people. Just looking to meet new friends and establish myself here. My parents live here in Flag, so I am able to be closer to them.
I have 2 kids, one is almost 12 and the other is about to turn 18.

I am a certified diver, I love to travel, although I haven't been doing much of that lately.....just due to the move and the economy. I am DYING to go to Italy!

I also love to cook, love good wine and good conversation. If you love to cook....I'd love to have you in the kitchen....unless, of course you critique the way I cook noodles or maybe say that I put too much garlic in the food. Oh...you have to love garlic. That's a dealbreaker if not. LOL

TURN ONS: funny... you have to be funny and have a good sense of humor to keep my attention! Also, I don't expect you to pay for everything, but I hope that you can afford to go out to dinner maybe once a week and not have to order the least expensive item on the menu. Sometimes I'll pay for you...I hope you would be able to do the same. "Dutch" is fine too. I think life is short and you should live it to the fullest.....within your means. Really, I'm only talking a sushi dinner at Karma or Hiro's and some sake. Not a big deal..... Oh....that's another thing...you gotta like sushi. :-)

TURN OFFS: guys that flex in their pictures (many other girls have said that guys...just an FYI).
also: guys who are "smothering"...there is a "process" to dating.... no, I am not your girlfriend and will not marry you after one date.....

In return, I will not smother you, call you or text message you 20 times a day. Geeeeeeeez......... I can't believe some guys just don't get that!

I love to sing karaoke, not that I'm good.....but hey.... If you know Love Shack.....give me a call! My new favorite song is "Dreams" because I can sing a pretty good Stevie Nicks.... (well, that's my own opinion...I'm sticking to it!)

I am not a "bar fly" but occasionally like to go out and get out of the house. A game of pool....or a happy hour somewhere with friends is essential at times.

I'm a Parrothead...yes, I love Jimmy Buffett, Elton John, Jack Johnson, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), ...... But I am also versatile to other kinds of music. I don't particulary like country music or guys who wear cowboy hats....why? I guess it's because I grew up on the river and there wasn't a cowboy hat in sight. Clint Eastwood is the only one that can get away with that with me. LOL.

My hope for the future is to find the one that I'm "comfortable" with. My friends say that will be "the one"..... I'm looking forward to that. However, I am also a really good friend. So if we click, great! If we don't...maybe we can be friends.
