The kiss. Its one of the first ways we are taught to express our emotions. Our lips to anothers, or to thier cheek, or to thier forehead. A simple way to say "hey I care about ya." As a male it usually isn't the first thing that comes to my mind when an attractive female crosses my path. Actually its usually the last thing that comes to mind until there is that discovery that there some kind of connection. Its one of those things that can be gaurded at times. Remember that old sayin everyone warns you about " Don't hold all your feelings inside." Yea it is right in there with all of those feelings. Cowarding down behind the barricade with disappointment, and expectation. Peeking its head around the corner making sure that no one is looking for it.
But what happens when one of the expressions of emotion that you hold closest to you grows brave. And it becomes the agressor. Not hiding from anything. In retrospect what happens when the hunted becoming the hunter? Running and ducking, trying not get hit by the flying emotions of people who think that "the kiss" is running towards them. Hurdling over every obstacle, shrugging off all distractions.
What happens when a small "hello" turns into "How YOU doin?" And that turns into "Good Morning" and "Good Night?" When the sound of one certain thing brings a smile to your face that is ear to ear. What happens when a conversation about nothing, excites you to do everything? Like a 4 year old with an endless supply of pixie stix (kiddie crack). And the only thing you can do is smile, and wait for that spy that has so cleverly snuck into your head to call again. Send me a message!
