I'm an honest, humorous, down to earth guy looking for a woman who appreciates the mountains, nature, rain, thunderstorms, exploring/shopping, music, conversation, sunsets, candlelight dinners and good food at home or away.

My idea of paradise is sitting on a big rock in the middle of a roaring river. I like to pan for gold as an excuse to be outdoors and appreciate nature. Grilling cheeseburgers and sipping a beer next to a stream or river is a great way to spend a day. A perfect evening for me would be sipping wine and eating popcorn by a fire with a special woman.

I have a happy, friendly, humorous disposition and sometimes can be the life of the party. I am semi-retired and own a home-based internet business in the Sierra mountains about 50 miles east of Sacramento.

I enjoy prowling around the little towns of the California gold country, such as Jackson, Sutter Creek, Amador City, Dry Town and Columbia, checking out the stores and licking an ice cream cone or sipping an ice-cold beer on a hot day. I also like to go to Nevada and visit towns like Reno and Virginia City and maybe drop a few nickels in the machines. Flea markets and garage sales are fun too.

I like to explore the back roads of the forest just to see where they go, and I think it's fun to go treasure hunting with my metal detector. Who knows what we'll find! Maybe love? Ha-ha!

I like Mexican, Oriental and Italian food, lobster, enchiladas, tacos, shrimp scampi, salads, chicken parmesan, hamburgers, macaroni salad and almost everything else either at home or in a cozy restaurant.
