I moved to the midwest for school just over 2 years ago. I'm originally from Vermont (which I miss big time), but was living in Boston before moving here. I love mountains and coasts and being near my family, but I'm getting used to Indiana. I'm getting a degree in theology (a bit random, since I'm not religious), so I spend a fair bit of time sitting around and reading. But I much prefer being outside, or going to the movies, or playing boardgames, or trying out new restaurants, or dancing, or watching other people do karaoke (I cannot sing to save my life).
