I believe a relationship takes work and effort, that it's a challenge in today's world to develop a deep and meaningful one. It seems in our disposable society, where you can find everlasting love in six episodes of a reality show, that there aren't many men or women willing to put the time into creating something that is truly lasting. I guess I'm kind of old fashioned. I believe in 'courting' someone, as corny as that sounds. I believe in honesty and respect and faithfulness and not running away when things get tough. I believe in romance and soul mates and being in love. I don't believe it's just a fairy tale. I'm a strong and independent woman, but I still need to be taken care of sometimes. I'm passionate and affectionate, but still need my own space. I've suffered some serious blows in my lifetime, have made huge mistakes, but don't carry that stuff around like heavy baggage. I try to use them as stepping stones to become a better person. I do have a wild side! I like to be a kid sometimes and do goofy and outrageous things. My boys keep me young and remind me that life should be a joyous adventure. I am not by any means perfect, nor do I ever want to be. That would be too boring. I love....being on the back of a bike, music, music, music, cuddling up on the couch under a blanket watching a movie in the dark, going out to quiet dinners, then a loud raucous bar, playing darts, reading, rock climbing (though I'm not very good), hanging out with my kids when they're not too busy for me :), did I say music?
