Bad-ass indie filmmaker seeks young, beautiful starlet to ride the waves of fame and intrigue, elbow with the stars, and spend moonlit nights swilling espresso on the banks of the notorious French Riviera. Must be able to travel at a moment’s notice, have some basic knowledge of martial arts (preferably Kung Fu) in case we run into action sequences or mimes along the way.

So, as you know, personal profiles are often one of the hardest things to write. No one, including myself, is ever really sure how to quantify who they are in a little text box. But, seeing as how having an “About Me” section would most likely help along the process of meeting you, I’ll give it my best shot. So, nice to (virtually) meet you, I’m Jeff.

My two greatest passions in life are music and film. For me, music is like Prozac - it helps me stay sane throughout the day. I love discovering new music that I’ve never heard before, whether it be finding an mp3 from some underground indie group or discovering some long forgotten band of the ‘70’s while digging through a box of vinyl. I adore the guitar, but have a tragic inability to actually play it (read: haven’t taken the time to learn), so I’m working hard to overcome my affliction.

Filmmaking has become my love and my livelihood. I think it’s the blending of so many different kinds of art into one medium that really gets me. Anyway, I run my own business and work in the local film scene as much as I can to make a living, sometimes having to do web design and graphic design to bring in that little extra, but oh well, Denver isn’t exactly Hollywood! No matter, I still think working in film is the best job I could possibly have – with the distinct exception of getting to be a monkey handler at the zoo… that could be even cooler!

I love things that are unique and out of the ordinary. I also love to go on adventures. Sometimes I need a little coaxing, but once I get into the spirit of it all, I embrace everything an adventure has to offer. I’ve been a dreamer my whole life and I continue to be. I’m a big fan of staying up late; sometimes to the point where the sunrise is seeing me off to sleep. I’ve been described as an “old soul”, but some days I just feel old… other days I’d like to hop in the car, start driving, and see where life decides I should go.
