I'm a good example of why you should never judge a book by its cover.

While my mom says I could "talk the ear off of a stump," I've never been so great about talking about myself. I'm into a wide variety of things. Variety is definitely the spice of life and I take that saying to heart in everything I do. Be it my activities, friends, hair styles, or fashion choices every day can be a bit of a surprise with me. =) You can see a bit about what I like under my interests...

I'm a Navy brat, so I've had the opportunity of living in many places around the US (mostly the South though). Prior to moving to KY for uni, I lived in Georgia. I've been here for about 5 years now, and have been itching to move somewhere else for the past 3. My friends that have become my family here keep me in Lexington. I think I'm just going to throw a dart at a map and move where it lands. Although if it lands in the middle of the ocean I may be in trouble. My dog doesn't like the water. Me? I'm part fish.

I tend to be an optimistic realist (or is that realistic optimist?). I try to focus on the positives in life, but it doesn't always work out that way. Life isn't always pretty and there are harsh realities that too many "true" optimists don't want to face. I'm also pretty geeky. Don't let the cool pictures fool you. Underneath that sweet exterior, is a nerd always showing her face. And I'm proud of it. Yes, that's a picture of me in a costume of Harley Quinn. Yes, I made it myself. I go to this awesome thing called Dragon*Con with a bunch of my friends (this past year there were about 15 of us) every Labour Day Weekend and it's a blast. But I don't need that as an excuse to dress up in costume.
