I’m an intelligent, honest and pretty straight-forward guy. I’ve lived and worked in Utah for almost seven years now as a games developer and I’m originally from England. My accent may be fading slowly but I still know how to be polite, act like a gentleman (even if I don’t) and maintain a stiff-upper-lip :). I consider myself somewhat geeky, very logical, loyal, driven, a little competitive, often restless and generally well-meaning. I care about my friends and pets, I think I have a good sense of humor and I’m quite self-sufficient. I’m pretty happy in my skin, however I’m often setting myself objectives and goals… this is usually in the form of hobbies and skills of which I’ve taught myself many. I enjoy bouncing ideas, concepts, problems and banter off people and although I can be pretty quiet at times I’m usually thinking and solving plenty. The right person can really tap into that and I love having those kinds of conversations.

At this point in my life I’m starting to really consider my future and what I want to do with it in the next few years. I’m fairly sure Utah isn’t for me and that I would like to go independent in my field… due to visa/greencard issues however that could prove a tricky proposition in the States and it might take me out of the country long-term. I’m also fairly sure that I’d like to find someone special to share experiences and achievements with. Someone who can relate to or understand me. Someone who has as many goals, hopes and as much ambition as I do. Someone technically or scientifically minded would be a plus and, well, challenging in a good way, varied, colorful, educated, excitable, witty with a sense of humor and who has some adventure in them.
