I’m relatively new to this area and would like to get to know and possibly meet someone interesting and intriguing, slightly off the beaten path, yet at least reasonably sane. Wondering why so many people in life seem so vacuously "normal" or totally off the deep end...is there anyone else somewhere in between?

I am 32, 5’ 10”, slim/slender, college grad, gainfully employed and living on my own, slightly introverted (except for when I’m not), have intelligence and a heart, like wine (especially Riesling, although I’m willing to immerse in most), non-traditional beer (especially ambers & Labatt Blue), making out (a terribly underrated art form), watching 90210 instead of living it, hockey & football (Sabres & Bills…yes, I’m originally from Buffalo), listening to the rain (especially thunderstorms), taking walks, running around/playing, holding hands, feeding ducks, sleeping in on the weekends, engaging in socio/political debate, history, penguins (except for the ones from Pittsburgh), eating yummy Indian and Thai food, dreaming wide awake and sipping lots of earl grey tea!

Passionate about music (alternative, brit pop, hardcore, punk, ska) & going to shows…some of my fave bands are Morrissey/The Smiths, Lush, 7 Seconds, Depeche Mode, The Donnas, Hepcat, The Strokes, Pixies, The Cramps, Echo & The Bunnymen, Dag Nasty, Bauhaus/Love & Rockets/Peter Murphy, Lily Allen, The Cure, Gorilla Biscuits, Franz Ferdinand, Babes In Toyland, Violent Femmes, Misfits, Jesus and Mary Chain, Horrorpops, Minor Threat, The Ramones, The Bird And The Bee, Zombina & The Skeletones, Shudder To Think... & many, many more. Music is, has been, and will always be a huge part of my life…even though I don’t have as much time to be as actively involved in it as I used to be (band, radio show, zine etc) I will always be around it.

Movies: Pump Up The Volume, Heathers, Ghost World, Back to the Future

TV shows: 90210, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, Buffy, HGTV, The History Channel…and some others I won’t admit to liking on here…which, I suppose, is a rather incriminating statement considering some of the ones I just admitted to.

I am cool and a bit quirky, like to be playful and youthful but am also organized and responsible. I am unashamedly unique, but also have some “normal” goals and aspirations.
