I am a good man that still believes in chivalry. I try to look at life one day at a time and see the best in any situation (even the bad ones). Honesty and integrity are powerful beliefs in my life. While I used to be a theatre actor, I really dislike having drama in my personal life. However, I have come to realize that some drama and/or conflict is inevitable in any relationship. The key is how that drama/conflict is resolved. I DO NOT enjoy being angry and so try to avoid anger/conflict by using rationality/logic/wisom and/or compassion to diffuse a potential negative situation. I'm an easy going person. But I don't like to feel like I'm being taken advantage of, pushed around or walked on.

It is my belief that a relationship should be a partnership. That both parties should contribute equally to the whole so that neither can feel as though they are above or below the other in the percentage of investment.

Like anyone, I have good days and not-so-good days. Times when "she" is everything. And times when I just want to be left alone. If I don't want to talk, it shouldn't be taken personally. I get around to voicing my displeasure. Sooner or later. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to intentionaly hurt other peoples feelings.

I am rather introspective and tend to think quite a bit before acting. Looking at options before choosing a course. This, I have noticed, tends to frustrate some people that are looking for solutions NOW. Though, that is not to say that I'm not spontaneous. The "spur-of-the-moment" is what adds spice to life. But important decisions should be considered carefully before being acted upon.

In a word, I would like to settle down and grow old with someone in a happy, safe, secure, romantic, trusting and passionate relationship. I'm looking for a woman that knows what she wants and is not afraid to go for it. One that is mature enough to be stable (emotionaly, mentally and professionaly) but still young enough to go out and have a good time. She should love music, movies and interesting conversation. She should be comfortable in jeans or a gown. A woman that enjoys dancing, romance, fine wine, fireside, and passion. Easy on the eyes and gentle on the soul.
