So you're asking yourself, what would a woman like her be looking for in a man?? Probably a real couch potato, she's a little big. WRONG!! I've had a bit of a stressful time the last couple of years and, since I don't smoke, drink or do drugs, my vice is eating. Up through age 30, I was fit and healthy. I drove a Trans Am on a daily basis. Just getting in and out of one of those keeps you in good shape. Unfortunately, my habits deteriorated over the last few years. I've made some wholesale changes since then and am working on getting back in shape and losing most of the weight. If you love to go for long walks, you could help me out!
So, I'm looking for someone who likes to get out and do things. I snowmobile, ski, skate, maybe bike a little, etc. I like to hike a lot, but I don't like camping. I grew up in the woods and prefer to stay indoors during bug season. I'd rather hike when it's a lot cooler out. I love to travel and stay in hotels. I like to see new places and people. I LOVE to shop. So, yes, I'm a typical woman in that respect. Hmm.. more about personality maybe? I like to talk, but I can listen, too. I have no idea how to play games, so all of you game-haters are in luck there. If I ever do get married, it will be for life. My parents, siblings and all but a couple of the aunts/uncles have only been married once. Granted, my one set of living grandparents divorced when my dad was twelve, but it's a rare thing. I'm still not sure how they lived together that long! They're very different people. I do know how to compromise when necessary, but I will fight for what I believe is right, too. OK, so my living room is only 14 feet long, do we really need a 8-foot-wide tv??? I guess if you really want one.. See, that kind of thing.
I grew up with people who like to talk, have been known to talk over each other AND hold more than one conversation at a time, love to laugh and we play games. Real ones: cards, parcheesi, Sorry, Uno, Pictionary, etc. I never wanted children for myself, but I do like kids. I get along okay with my two nieces and nephew. My oldest niece has agreed to go to Cleveland this month to see Wicked with me. I guess that pretty much makes me a family person. I have a few friends, too, and I like to have parties. Once or twice a year I usually host a party. I had an Open House before Christmas and I'm having a big picnic for family, friends and co-workers in the spring. Nothing fancy, I always wear jeans and sneakers, but it's still a lot of fun.
So, if any of this sounds interesting to you, please feel free to drop me a message. I'm trying to write back to everyone, but sometimes it takes me a while.
