I think Bill Engvall said it best when he said, “15 Degrees Off Cool.” I’ve never been one to chase the fancy house on the hill, or the decked-out sports cars. I like to make my own fun and believe that everyday offers a new page in your autobiography – might as well live a page-turner. While I do consider myself adventurous and daring – there is a certain level of practicality to that. I’ll take humiliation over possible death any day of the week. I love to karaoke and still want to do stand-up comedy. I don’t have a problem trying a new sport or activity – as long as it doesn’t involve traveling towards the ground at a high rate of speed (that’s the practical side).
I love pets and currently have three wonderful cats – with plans to adopt a dog this year. There is Elma (AKA Creampuff), Kynda (AKA Mouth), and my newest one Houghton (AKA Pest). All of them “came my way”.
Work and the house keep me pretty busy – but I won’t let myself become a homebody. I like concerts and shows, dining out, or even just a walk around the neighborhood. Movies are great, but I’d rather watch them at home with a warm fire going. In the summer I like to sit by the fire pit with good company, relax with a cocktail, and enjoy good conversation.
I would like to meet somebody who understands that, while commonalities are great, differences are important too. If you like to “do your own thing” once in a while, I think that is great – we all do. My “perfect someone” has their own hobbies, their own life, and their own dreams – and is willing and open to share them with mine.   Send me a message!
