...and not a problem to be solved.

Me? You want to know about me? Well it seems that you do as you have decided to read my profile so here goes: I’m divorced (aren’t we all?) and I have 2 grown boys 28 and 30 that live a long way away so they won’t “drop in” on us on Friday night. I am easygoing but have ADD and consequently have more energy than most 30 year olds. I don't watch much TV so am not interested in couch potatoes. A movie on the couch is great but endless hours in front of the TV will not do. If you are a TV junky keep looking.

I ride my motorcycle whenever I can and that is a big part of my life. Travel and vacations always revolve around the motorcycle. I have 5 so you might say I am addicted. If you can’t see yourself involved in that activity then you need to move to the next profile.

I often work long hours but leave the job at the office. I do however have a second and simultaneous career, saving turtles that I see crossing the road. So if you see a crazy motorcycle rider abruptly stop and jump out in traffic, it’s me and I'm saving yet another turtle - please don't hit me or the hapless turtle.

There are so many things that I can and do enjoy that it would be impossible to name them all here. If I have never tried it then I am certainly up for it. Bring on the new active challenges - I'm ready. My most recent endeavor has been shag dance lessons and I not only enjoy it but have become slightly more than adequate at it. Wanna Shag? If you are a ballroom dancer I am really interested as that is my next quest.

I am deeply spiritual but not religious and so could not see myself with a fundamentalist. Also I am a retired military officer so my political ideas will be of the conservative nature (actually I am more of a libertarian) but I can get along with all but the most staunch whiny liberals. So if you are a whiny liberal Michael Moore fan please move quickly to the next profile.

I am a nonconformist and march to my own drum. I view “the box” as the guidelines that nonthinkers live within so as to avoid making decisions. Due to my profession, I spend a lot of my time in “the box” but I prefer to think and act outside of it. This results in an occasional bite or wound but more often it is rewarding.

I enjoy good beer (American swill generally doesn’t count), good red wine, good food and traveling. I prefer jeans and a t-shirt (or flannel - weather dependent) but I wear a coat and tie to work so am more than capable of dressing if the occasion requires.

While long walks on the beach sound wonderful the reality is that the beach is 6+ hours from here and so not something that we could do often.

I am seeking an equally active and energetic woman who is intelligent, self reliant, self confident and has an appreciation for the humorous side of life (ability to laugh at yourself is a must).
