Hi everyone,
Well what can I say since I've never done this before. I'm a 24-year-old living in Saint paul Minnesota. I've been living on my own for 2 years in a highrise till i can find a better place with a better area for walking my guide dog, and I love it. It's a challenge for me, but will be great in the long run. I have 2 sisters and a brother. I'm blind, but I have a twin sister who's sighted. I do like to live life just like anyone else does. I like to shop, read, listen to music, which you already know some of. i'm a yellow belt in judo, rock climbing, swimming but i'm not very good at it, learning to play new sports, basketball was fun till i got hit in the back of the head back in highschool, using the pottery wheel but i haven't gotten to do that since highschool either, roller blading i need to get a new pair, going on motorcycle rides when i can find somebody that has one to take me but thats not top priority. I'm not working right now, but as for jobs, I want to either be a medical transcriptionest or a paralegal or a piano tuner someday. More about my job situation i'll probably be working either in spring lake park calling people to ask them if they want assessments on there houses when they get storm damage if the state ever gets it adapted so i can actually do the job, i'll have to most likely do the funding for the paralegal schooling on my own but so far i've not found one that has ever taught a blind person i've been looking at a lot of online schools but the one school i called the lady for admissions told me she didn't know how a blind person could be a paralegal and that her school was private and they didn't have a disability department.
I'm not sure of which one yet, but I like them all. I have a guide dog and I've had her for a year now. She's a golden retriever named shiloh and I love her dearly. I got her because I've read up on guide dogs and how intellegent they are and some of my friends have them, so I decided to get one and I'm glad I did. As for me being on here, I'm looking for a nice guy who will respect me, who'll return my calls and who'll just be there for me when i need somebody to vent to. somebody to make me laugh, that will accept me and gretta as the team we are and not try to tell me how to take care of her, i don't mind opinions or advice but if i have to violate the rules that the school gave me for her training then i won't listen to your advice. somebody to hang out with to introduce to my family, somebody that loves animals, similar interests would be nice to. somebody to enjoy life with, somebody that can help me improve and let me help them improve with there flaws and imperfections. Of course, since I don't see, I don't judge by looks, since it's the personality that counts.

I like people that can make me laugh, i complain and get frustrated easily, i need to improve at problem solving, i tend to be detail oriented and really organized for the most part, i won't lie i have not had much experience with men and have decided to either wait for the right person or till marriage to have sex which ever comes along first!
I have a new guide dog my goldein retriever was attacked and became really aggressive so i had to send her back but now ihave my beautiful gretta so its all good.
I hate people that make fun of others just because there different and when i get stared at i tell people to take a picture it'll last a lot longer hehe they must see something they like or maybe not. Of course, I'd like to take it slow and get to know you first, so if you want to get to know me and start a wonderful friendship and take it from there, just drop me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
