What I look for in a partner:

Initially, I am drawn to a woman's eyes and face. They say the eyes are the window to the soul. I most definitely agree. In a persons eyes you find whether or not you can trust them, and you can read their current mood. Color has little to do with my affinity. A person that is able to meet and hold my gaze shows that they are both honest and comfortable with themselves, and the person they are with. To a lesser degree, I am attracted to a woman's face. Faces, like eyes, tell a lot about a person, or rather who they have been. If you've spent much of your life laughing and smiling, you will have developed lines in your face that show this. I know ladies, you hate to have wrinkles, but for me, it makes a person that much more attractive. On the other hand, if someone dwells on petty offenses or spends much of their time worrying, it also shows.

First and foremost, you will notice I said partner. I want someone to treat as an equal, that is not to say they need to be as strong as I in all areas, but someone who will be my complement. I don't believe in all this trying to find someone with all the same likes and dislikes, that will never happen. We are all individuals and are all unique in our own ways. I expect to be treated as an equal as well. When there is a difference of opinion on a matter, there needs to be respect for each others opinions. If you look back on your own life honestly, you will realize that yelling and screaming never solved anything. True compromise and peace came only after people calmed down enough to sit and talk things out.
