Oh what it is like to be single in this day and age. What ever happened to boy meets girl, girl meets boy, live happily ever after. Wait, isn’t that a fairy tale???

Fairy tale or not, some days I wonder if dating is even worth the headache that it causes but here we go. I am an outgoing single mom who loves the outdoors and sports. I am not only a spectator, but I am also a participant. Softball and volleyball are my passions, almost like a drug, can’t live without them. I enjoy fishing, camping, writing, photography, spending time with my kids and just staying busy a lot.

You know it is really hard to describe yourself, unless you are an arrogant individual. I don’t pretend to be someone I am not; I do tend to tone it down when needed. I always give someone a second chance, sometimes you just get nervous the first time around and something stupid flies out of your mouth, happens to the best of us. I am a very social person, I like going out in big crowds and meet new people. I have never met a stranger in my life and am not going to start now.

Don’t ask me what I want out of life cause I can honestly tell you I don’t know. I am a woman, since when do we know what we REALLY want. I know what I think I want, does that count? I believe that when I find it, I will know. It may have to come out of the dark and slap me upside the head a few times first, then maybe, and I do mean maybe, I might get the hint. I believe we are all individuals and want different things out of our lives. Some people are needy, some are nurturers and some just don’t even know what directions they are going. Life is full of wrong way streets and sometimes you gotta go down one just to figure out what direction you should be going. Life should be full of adventures and excitement. I like taking the unexpected rough paths through life, because they are never dull. I see each and ever day as a new adventure. They call it a NEW day for a reason!!! Now it is up to us to make out of that new day what we want.

I have learned many lessons the hard way. I have learned that you can not trust everyone, that you can not control who you love and who loves you, you can not please everyone in your life and you are going to disappoint more than you please. Most of us walk through our lives never knowing what to expect from day to day. Others run through life missing out on so much and then there are those that try to stop life because they don't know where to go or what they want. I choose to meander through life, life shouldn't be mapped out, it should be full of twist and turns, keeping you constantly wondering. I admit that at one time I had my life mapped out, knew where I was going what I was doing but then a BIG twist was thrown in. At first I was devastated, then I was relieved. It was the best thing ever. It opened up many doors of opportunities, adventures and chances. My biggest mistake was thinking I could map out my life. My biggest accomplishment so far through this is enjoying not knowing what tomorrow will bring. During my time meandering, I expect to meet new friends, new enemies, new loves and old ones. I use to think not knowing was the worse feeling, but now not knowing is what keeps me going on.   Send me a message!
