Hello, and welcome to my profile. The purpose of my profile is for serious inquiring candidates to get an idea of the kind of person that is in the picture. If that is of no concern to you, than chances are, we are not going to be any kind of match. Seems a little silly to have to point that out, but I seem to get hate mail because of the nature of my profile being so provacative and straightforward.

However, I also receive compliments for it as well; so those of you thinking of sending a hateful email because of 'whatever reason' stating that no one will be interested, I am here to say that I am very pleased with the weeding process that occurs naturally as I am meeting educated and articulate men who are definately interested in a woman like myself. Now I know its long, but I want the reader who is interested to really know who I am as best as they can before meeting so that time and resources are not wasted. I am just thoughtful that way. :)

So before you get started, I want you to know that I am very nice and not bitter and angry. I am just trying to be sure to use my time wisely so I am not exhausted when you email me.

Just so you know, I am not a woman who rambles and nags for hours. Actually, I am a woman that is quite direct.

Chapter ONE

I ALSO NEED TO CAUTION YOU, THE FOLLOWING IS A LITTLE HARSH, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO ANSWER ENDLESS EMAILS FROM PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE THEIR LIFE TOGETHER FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. WE ALL HAVE STUFF THAT WE ARE WORKING ON, I GET THAT, BUT OVER AND OVER I AM FINDING THAT THEIR JUST ARE SO FEW REALLY GOOD MEN LEFT WITH MORALS, CONVICTIONS, AND PRIORITIES.

SO, IF YOU HAVE NO JOB, OR ARE "BETWEEN JOBS," (excluding lay off for recent economic issues) LIVE WITH YOUR MOTHER OR FATHER (or any other relative or friend,) HAVE LITTLE CHILDREN AND ARE NOT IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO ME, (I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU BRING A CHILD INTO THIS WORLD,IT IS YOUR DUTY TO BRING THEM UP- NOT LEAVE THEM FOR JOBS OR RELATIONSHIPS) OR SIMPLY CANNOT RELAX AND LAUGH AT YOURSELF, THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PROFILE.

I AM GUESSING THAT BY THIS POINT 95% OF POTENTIAL CANDIDATES HAVE ALREADY CALLED ME SOME VULGAR NAME AND MOVED ON, AND THOSE ARE THE GUYS I AM NOT INTERESTED IN SO...BETTER FOR ME..

CHAPTER TWO

So, I will stop yelling and calm down a little.. Hopefully you dont think I am a total meanie and understand my attempt to weed out and narrow down the dating pool so that we can find each other.

There is a japanese symbol that is called a Kaizen, which stands for continuous self improvement. I bring that up because I feel connected to that philosophy and am always seeking a way to improve myself in all realms of my life.

I believe we are all on a journey of life that is filled with love and passion and should not be wasted.

A magnificent quote that struck a chord with me that I would like to share with you was by the late Dian Fossey. This was her last journal entry in her diary before she was murdered in Rwanda in 1985. "When you realize the value of your life, you dwell less in the past and concentrate on the preservation of your future."

My job is that I work as a personal trainer at a local fitness club and I also have an AFAA certification to teach aerobics.

I need to clarify by the way, that I am also a student (senior) at a local university and that my major is social work. My intentions with that degree are not exactly clear yet, but I am positive that it will be exciting and innovative. If you can imagine that, GREAT. CHAPTER 3

My philosophy is that life is always changing. Its always a process. I realized for me that when I accepted this idea, I felt more OK with reality. Life is really amazing. I believe that when the STUDENT IS READY, THE TEACHER WILL APPEAR.

I am a WOMAN. Not a girl who giggles and gossips. When I laugh. It is whole hearted and from the belly. I am thoughtful, concientious and responsible. I am stable emotionally and believe I am an assertive and communicative individual with a desire for compatible and stimulating dialog.

I try to do the right thing and strive to understand myself and other people.

I am a little old fashioned in some ways like guys making the first moves and opening doors and being courteous and kind to other people. I am also a hopeless romantic and love surprises.

I am fun loving. I am spontaneous and unconventional. I am resourceful and tenacious. I do not give up easily.

CHAPTER 4

My idea about relationship is as follows:

The following qualities emerge as they are associated with relationship contentment.. Each partner is a good listener and is understanding of the other's feelings; the couple strikes a balance in leisure time spent together and apart; each partner is easy to talk to and is creative and agreeable in handling differences, including finances; and they are sexually compatible.

Maybe love is like rain.. Sometimes gentle, sometimes torrential, flooding, eroding, quiet, steady, filling the earth, collecting in hidden springs. When it rains, when we love, new life grows..

I am looking for the love of my life.. I am not interested in mediocrity.

I am waiting for you to find me..

Having said all of that, these are adjectives and values that define who I am.. I'm fun-loving and optimistic, and hard-working when the time calls for it. I am a critical thinker, so I like good conversation. I am always interested in new things and am very open minded. The things I've gone through in my life and the things I've witnessed are the things I learn from. What I say and what I do, is what defines who I am. I like to think that I am always working on being a better person. It certainly isn't the easiest thing to do. I make mistakes but I don't regret them. I see them as opportunities of growth. If I struggle, I do not give up easily. I know the outcome is a direct correlation to me working harder. Important things to know about me are that I am very solution-oritented. Getting to the bottom of things and feeling accomplished are important to me. I do not like to be frustrated by situations that could easily be fixed or prevented alltogether. I like to know that I am working on becoming a better person every day of my life and expect my partner to be the same. I will challenge my mate to look at life deeply with sincerity and honesty. Please do not email me and waste both our time if you are not interested in this as it is critical to me. I am soft and cuddly and sweet and I will never cheat on you or lie to you, so if you want someone who is genuine and authentic to the core and is not afraid to look at herself honestly, then feel free to write. CHAPTER 5


Ultimately, I want someone who is balanced, honest, sincere, assertive, expressive, successful and happy in career (this does not mean making a lot of money- that is very superficial, which I am not). I am a passionate woman who cares about community, the environment, and people. (especially children). These things are serious to me and I want my mate to have a deep respect for them as well. Please do not be actively married or have a girlfriend that you are looking to either cheat on or dump for me.. I am not interested in that kind of drama. I understand being separated and sometimes it takes time to sort through all the stuff. I might also add that I am a firm believer in the saying "actions speak louder than words."

I also want to express there may be a point that I may wish to do a background check for the safety of my children. In the line of work that I am in, in these days, you can really never be too careful. Thank you for you time and understanding.
