First, getting the nerd-ery out of the way. I study the mathematics of proteins and some basic mathematics associated with chemistry and physics as a grad student. Specifically, I am studying the structure and function of a receptor in the brain (the NMDA receptor) and how it's structure relates to learning and cell death.
In the few moments I am not working, I do pretend to have a life. I am a touch of a beer snob and enjoy hanging out with friends in
bars, occasionally playing pool. I started college studying music, so I enjoy listening to and going to concerts for jazz, classical and indie music. Send me a message!
