Ladies, if you are looking for that truly romantic guy then give me a shot. I have been often referred to as a SUPERMAN but I think I am more of a BATMAN. I really am the last of a dying breed of men. I'm an intelligent man, loving, funny, very honest, optimistic, adventurous and I am a creative person. I'm passionate about a lot of things and I am very open minded. I have two culinary degrees and love to use them.

**Update** For those of you that watch the Food Network, I would love to challenge Bobby Flay in a head to head competition. Of course it would be on some good ole Cajun cuisine. As I am origianally from the great State of Louisiana. I love Sports, well of course what guy doesn't?, But I would love to find that someone who is ok with going to the track or to the game and throwing one hell of a Tailgate Party with friends.

I do not mind if you have kiddo's. I have two as well. They are 12 and 8 but do not live with me. Kids do not scare me. And I do not need to have peace and quite all the time. I can enjoy the day at the zoo or the fun park with the kids and even the movies if they are old enough. All I am saying is that, I am prepared to accept your kids into the relationship, if you have them. They are just as important to me as you will be.

I am looking for a woman that likes to play, In other words "Be Playful". Young at heart and mind but is mature and who is a genuinely good person. I want a woman that cares about the world around her and strives to make it a better place. Someone with lots of depth and passion for life that can stimulate me both mentally and physically.

I am a laid-back kinda guy. I love the beach but hate the sand, imagine that. I am the kind of guy that likes to shop and cook gourmet meals, so I have no problem going to the mall with you and telling you if it looks great or just holding your bags. Just looking for the woman that can enjoy it and can enjoy an occasional glass of wine. I love to relax and just enjoy my lady and the simple pleasures in life, doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the finer ones as well though. What I mean by the simple things is that I do not need a lot of drama in life to be happy. I love simple car rides, laying out by the pool, watching movies, cooking at home........ You get the picture. People tell me that I am easily fascinated but that I am too serious at times. I tend to not blend in with the typical crowd as I tend to have my own relaxed style and think that my world will consist that of my love and our children. Friends are important in life but I do not have to be surrounded by them. I want to enjoy my life with my love and our family every moment that I get.

**Update** Just to let you know from the paragraph above, I was in the military for 8 years. Go U.S. Coast Guard !!! So I know what structure is as well as discipline. My past marriage was a failure do to not having support for the goals that I was achieving and the lack of communication. I spent countless hours as a Rescue Swimmer, so if you have seen "The Guardian" you know what I did. Eat your heart out Ashton. I was also a Physical Fitness Instructor and spent the last 4 years of my enlistment with an Anti / Counter Terrorism Team. So now you can read between the lines and know where she had the issues. Mostly scared to death that I was not coming home. I was very successful in this and was awarded countless awards. Outside of the Military, I have owned 2 businesses in catering / gourmet cooking and in graphics. Upon my completion of these endevors, I became a cop as I was a cop before I was enlisted in the military and working for Dallas PD and was in Dallas S.W.A.T.

I WROTE THIS SECTION TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE MORE OF AN INSIGHT. I HOPE THIS IS NOT TOO MUCH FOR STARTERS. I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW UPFRONT THE TRUTH, AS I DO NOT BELIEVE IN HIDING THINGS FROM NOONE.

Furthermore, I have good morals, and I value the precious things in life. I am not intimidated by a strong and smart woman, but I also know how to take care of one when she is having a weak moment and needs someone to just be there to lean on. I strive to continually educate myself and grow as an individual as I am also an information fanatic. (Mostly Useless information to others but it is exciting to me).

Though I like all kinds of music, I am an 80's music fan as well as love songs. I think that music is a very powerful thing and if we sit and listen to it long enough, the stories they tell are amazing and are recipes for a successful love life and relationship.

I love to have fun and I am looking for someone caring, sincere and genuine with whom I can have serious talks with at times. Someone that can share secrets with me and I with them.
