A friend of mine told me about this web site so I thought I would check it out. I have been divorced for a few years now and I am beginning to date. I think it's time to at least begin to make a few friends. I think I do okay for myself but there are some areas of my life that really don't work. For example car repairs. I have lots of girlfriends but we are all in the same boat when it comes to things like car repairs.

I am retired from the Navy and now studying to become a nurse. I was widowed then divorced. I have two grown boys, a girl about to go off to college (or hopefully stay home and go off to college) and a 9 year old at home.

I like to be outside when I can. I enjoy concerts and the theater. I am a Christian girl so of course I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul and proclaim Christ as my personal Savior.
