I am retired from the government and moved from LA to the pacific northwest to be closer to my family. The green landscape and clean air also drew me here. Interests:  Music, classical to folk and alot in between. I love to sing myself. Politics, left-wing/progressive. Political satire, human rights, social concerns. Spiritu.al practice includes daily meditating (eastern practices). Also attend Church of Religious Science (new thought), Unitarian and occasionaly Jewish temple (reform). Since moving from Calif to the northwest I have not found spiritual communities near my home. I love to hike in the woods (I live in a forested area about 45 mi north of Seattle). When I can find them, I enjoy discovering little ethnic restaurants, good films, theatre, concerts and art galleries.
