I'm somewhat new, somewhat not new to the Austin area, and just looking for someone down to earth, not insanely crazy, although a little nutty is not out of the question. If you're a t-shirt and jeans girl, you already have my eye (although classy isn't bad). If you laugh at funny and non funny jokes, wow, where have you been? !

About myself: I'm a technical artist in Austin's growing and thriving film industry. I think I've managed to keep a vibrant/youthful outlook on life, while growing out of the naiveness of youth. I've seen so many people grow into a lethargic stagnation in life, especially in their 30's on, and I almost fell into that trap myself, but realized happiness requires a lot of motivation and work. I think happiness is also an obligation on one's part for the sake of those around him/her, and if you think for a second, you might agree. I'm hoping to find someone with a similar optimism or philosophy about life. Personality wise, I'm on the reserved side with a sense of humor somewhere between dry and cheesy, and sometimes sick while occasionally inclined for a sarcastic jab.

Anyways, I still don't have much of a social network here in Austin, and would like to get back in the saddle. The ball is in your court :)
