I'm a 27 year old from the northern VA area looking to connect for
friendship, love, or both. Currently, I'm in school, working on my
Bachelor's (part-time) and working at an association (full-time). When
I grow up, I'd love to own a little event-planning business and plan
weddings, parties, corporate events, etc. For now, I can't wait to
just finish school, get my event management certificate, and reward
myself for it later with a trip to Europe.

I love to travel, though I haven't had time to lately. I don't think I
fit into any category. Yes, I can be a girly girl who likes to shop
occasionally, dress up, and go to dinner and dancing. But that can get
boring. I also love the outdoors and trying new things. I'm all for
camping, biking, hiking, etc., and also keeping healthy (but not in an
obsessive gym not way). That means exercise, (teaching myself to
swim), and the occasional indoor rock-climbing. Even with my hectic
schedule, I'll find time to take long walks with my dog, and just be
outside.

On a lazy day, you'll find me either underneath a tree or underneath
my covers reading a book - depending on the weather. I love watching
movies as opposed to just tv (except for the news and some of my
favorite reruns).

I tend to make jokes (it gets cornier when out of hand), but I can get
really serious when I'm passionate over something. My close friends
would say that I have lots of acquaintances but very few friends and
that's because
I am very loyal and I go out of my way for them. That can be either a
good or bad thing. Depending on the other person, I may be a hard
person to read or very easy because I'm so straightforward. I
definitely tell it like it is, but I also know when I need to not say
anything - most of the time. :) Though I may look like an open book, I
think you'll always find something about me that will surprise you.


I consider myself old-fashion in some ways, so he would have to be a
gentleman - and not just for show and on dates. Definitely has to be
able to make me laugh, and most importantly, knows what he wants to do
with his life. He doesn't necessarily have to have a five year plan,
but at least knows where and how to get there. It helps to have things
in common, someone who loves dogs, traveling, and trying new things. I
consider myself pretty open-minded, but we should definitely share the
same values, beliefs, etc.   Send me a message!
