Retired, time on my hands .... and no one to play with! I've recently relocated to Montgomery County and seeking new friendships, activity playmates...... and, in the meantime, refuse to give up on the possibility of love....


Hopefully,I could be described as trustworthy, loyal, respectful, a reserved sense of humor, tolerant (to a point), considerate and respectful (I try), somewhat shy and easy-going, affectionate, fun-loving and spontaneous with close friends, and financially (I hope)and somewhat emotionally stable (does anyone at our age not have some baggage?!!).

Then, of course, there's always what some consider the downsides: like being somewhat obsessive-compulsive ... logical, neat, clean, organized, "everything in it's place" and "all duck's lined up in a row". Affectionate, passionate and loving, but friendship and compatibiity take precedence over a roll in the hay (look elsewhere), and finally, intelligence can vary from seeming totally scatter-brained to actually knowing what I'm talking about!

My interests lean towards the outdoors if the opportunity arises. From just sitting back with ribs on the grill and enjoying the time with family & friends to participating in activities ... boating, kayaking , fishing, horseback riding, hiking, woodworking, gardening/landscape, and all animals & wildlife (except toads; seems to be a lifelong phobia there!). Skilled at none of the above; but enjoy all and fairly game to try new things (latest passion is flyfishing)!


Jeans, t-shirt and calloused hands from working on a project is the usual, but I also love the opportunity to dress up and go out on the town for dancing, theatre and cultural events. I've traveled extensively in the past, but have yet to experience that s-l-o-w trip and explore the Western States, or ferry-hop to Alaska, or perhaps visit Machu Pichu or Costa Rica with that special companion.   Send me a message!
