Just an FYI - if you missed that little tidbit on my profile, I do smoke. I don't think I'll quit any time soon. And when I do quit, it'll be for myself, not for someone else.

I want to meet a professional man who is ambitious, intelligent and poised, yet has a little bit of a wild side to him. He should know when to tell bawdy jokes and when to schmooze my grandma. He should be outgoing and sincere, warm, trustworthy and loyal. I want him to sing along to Bon-Jovi songs with me in the car, humor me with outrageous versions of karaoke favorites and surprise me with a trip to an amusement park or a home-cooked dinner. And I'd also like it if he could make a decent dirty martini for me when I've had a hard day at work.

I'm a working mom who really doesn't have time to go out and meet people in bars. While I have no aversion to the bar atmosphere, I just don't have the desire to strike up a conversation about how good that Iron City tastes. I have a pretty biting sense of humor and am cynical by nature. The best thing to remember is that I don't usually mean to be mean, but if I do, you'll know. I grew up around my dad and 6 uncles so teasing comes naturally.

I value family above everything. I like to kick back with a few cocktails and good conversation. I sing karaoke. My favorite T.V. shows are Family Guy, House, Flavor of Love and Boston Legal. I love taking my son to the playground. I try to stay active. I coached a 12 and under girl's softball team this summer and I'll also be coaching the varsity Hampton Girl's Fastpitch Softball team in the fall - hey, it gives my old man a break ;-)

I don't take myself too seriously (see favorite shows above). While I do enjoy going to museums, indie movies and martini bars, you'd be more apt to find me in the middle of a crowded dive bar rocking out to the 80's cover band that's playing.

Please don't message me if you are looking to have a "good time". I want to go out with someone funny, smart and fun and go from there. If the most that I get out of this is a few friends, that's fine. But I have no interest in just hooking up.   Send me a message!
