I imagine I am like you, I never imagined I'd be single at this age but here I am, happily divorced, and ready to start a new relationship when the right one comes along, until that happens I'm ready to make a few new friends. I am a patient woman, willing to wait for the right one, not willing to settle.. . Life is too short.

You will not find me sitting in a bar looking for a man or at a singles function. You would find me a bookstore, a hardware store, a wine tasting, art show, bargain shopping, or perhaps you'd meet me in line to buy coffee now and then or at a farmer's market, a day trip - just to see where that winding road ends up.

I am searching for my life partner, the one I can grow old with, tackle what life delivers together, one who enhances my life and I his... one who enjoys sharing wine on the patio at night by candlelight or cooking together on a Sunday afternoon.

Yes, I am looking for the man who is secure in himself, financially, mentally and emotionally... one who knows how to laugh, even if it means laughing at himself. One who has some baggage, who gets through life without any? But knows how to check it at the door... If you are a parent, wonderful... so am I, but my children are now grown and off to college. I will welcome your children with open arms as I would hope you would also do.

I am a woman who is aging gracefully , who embraces this stage of life, not tries to pretend I am still 35. I still feel very young, healthy, have a high energy level, have never suffered from depression nor have I ever needed to be the center of attention. If you like a drama queen, keep looking, I have nothing in my personality of that nature.
