Hi, my name is Laurie.

I'm a hard worker in the medical field and also have a home-based business. So, right now I don't have a lot of free time, but I still love to play when I can. I also don't have a lot of time to get out and socialize to meet people, which is why I'm here.

I'm very easy going and love to be outdoors. I like to travel, especially to exotic places. I've been to India 3 times but would like to travel to other distant lands. Want to go with me? It's more fun with a travel companion. I'm a football fan, (Michigan & Florida.) And I also like Hockey (Detroit Redwings). I love playing on the computer and also like video games. I like to read and enjoy history and current events and other intellectual subjects. I think I have a good sense of humor, if not a little quirky. My friends seem to enjoy it.

I don't believe in taking life too seriously unless it's absolutely necessary. I am spiritual but not terribly religious. I do enjoy spiritual/philosophical conversations as well as politics, current events, etc. all the taboo conversation subjects. I enjoy a good debate now and then. It's good brain exercise. Don't be afraid... I will always respect your opinions and will never hold them against you. Besides, it's a good way to learn.

I like a man who's a gentleman. I never did subscribe to that whole women's lib thing. Although.... I did burn a few bras back then in solidarity. I'm really just looking for someone to converse with right now. If things click... to also go to the movies with, plays, concerts, dinner, watch football or hockey games, hang out, walks on the beach or in the woods, and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time.
