So I moved to Los Angeles a year ago to go to film school and I'm starting to really wish I had someone special in my life to spend time with. They keep us pretty busy and the cinema crowd is such a small, tightly knit group that we rarely get out and met new people...

So here I am! As you'd imagine I'm passionate about film of all types and try to take in as many shows as I can. I love animals and volunteer at dog rescues as often as possible in my free time. Karaoke is another of my favorite leisure activities though I have a tendency to butcher the classics and potentially ruin them for you forever. I've been known to lay the smack down in ultimate frisbee on occasion. I don't read as much as I should, but Vonnegut and Stephen King are two of my favorite authors. On occasion I like to put on a trench coat and fedora and pretend I'm in a film noir...I love kids and would like to have one someday, but right now my goal is just being able to support a dog, haha.

Other things I'd enjoy doing that I'm missing out on being single include: cooking delicious dinner for two (curry is one of my specialties), dancing poorly, playing board games, going to the theater (none of my friends watch plays), going to concerts (I'm particularly partial to ethnic/folk punk and indie), and cuddling up on the couch to watch a movie.

I'm sweet, ambitious, imaginative, passionate about my beliefs, enthralled with making art, caring, affectionate, trustworthy, faithful, a little bit goofy, a little bit shy, and someone you can count on in a pinch. (In the last month I've helped two classmates move and picked up three from the airport!)

I have a huge family and an amazing group of friends, both of which are very important parts of my life, and both of which it would be great if my girl got along with swimmingly.
