I am originally from the midwest and currently living in the Boston area. I have a master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and taught in Japan for a year. I then returned to school for a second master's degree in social work and now am teaching and working at a local university.
I enjoy travel and learning about new things, movies, reading, going to the beach and am just getting back into running more seriously, as I feel health and fitness are important to well-being. I often enjoy walking 4-5 miles to work. I would love to emulate the love, caring and strong social values that were part of my upbringing in a Jewish/Lutheran family.
The person I am looking for has no "pending" relationship or children. He is part of a close-knit family and enjoys children. He is a non-smoker; politically liberal; knows the difference between knowledge and arrogance and a person who is comfortable in his own skin. He enjoys and adds to his profession; has convictions about life and other people but doesn't take himself too seriously. Most of all, he is a person who is caring and thoughtful of others.
People I relate to are easygoing, kind and caring, love dogs and cats.
People I do not care to meet enjoy the bar scene, like to gamble, are avid sports fans and like themselves better than they do anyone else. Send me a message!
