Hello, here's some basics about me. I'm a proud German/Irish redhead, but not the albino type redhead. Yes, I can get a tan! Never married and no kids. Nope, there's nothing wrong with me. That's just not the path I've walked in the past. I'm open to the possibility of marriage and I also like and get along with kids just fine. Have my own house and live alone with my pup. I work full time and I'm also working on a degree. I'm driven and far from lazy, but do make time to relax and have fun. I've had success in my life and also failure, I'm not perfect. When I fail, I pick myself up, clean my wounds and try again or learn from my mistakes. Ummm, I've learn a lot in my life. I'm not a health nut, but I do try to take decent care of myself. I'm far from being a prude and I've been around the block a few times in life, but the partying lifestyle doesn't interests me much anymore. I do smoke, but not heavily. I would like to think I'm a fairly intelligent guy, well rounded and know I have common sense. My sense of humor can be twisted and my mind is always in the gutter. I like to think I'm funny, but sometimes I'm the only one laughing. I like to be open and don’t have one secret. It's nice to have no secrets back from other people. I usually have something to talk about with all different types of people because my interests in life are endless and I like learning and experiencing new things. You will never hear me say "I'm bored". I'm really into music - alternative, old school punk, classic rock, techno, metal and older jazz and blues. I'm also into movies, cooking and the outdoors. I love animals and dogs, especially my dog, she is very important to me. Someone I date should understand how some people consider their pets family. I don't have any tattoos or piercings, but I don't have anything against them, some work is pretty cool. I like to fix things, build things, work on cars (to a point) and I like to make my yard look snazzy. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and I'm good with them in more ways than one ;) I like sports especially the NFL, but I have some sense and don't go apesh*t over any team or player. I'm far from uptight, far from being Dudley Doright, far from right wing. I'm human and have flaws just like everyone else, but no major issues. I know who I am and like who I am. I know what I want and don't want. I'm sane and stable, no meds! I'm a fairly normal guy, living a fairly normal life. You won't get games or ultra-strange hang-ups with me.

I'm looking for the common positive traits in people that everyone here says they want. We've all heard "looking for my best friend", so there's no need to re-type that stuff. For me.....Must like dogs and animals! You don't have to be an animal maniac, but if you dislike, hate or abuse animals then please move on. Physical attraction is very important, but without personality, inner beauty and a sense of humor I wouldn't have much interest. Sense of humor = must have! Must be "frisky" and no I'm not here just to get laid. Someone with some smarts, no college degree required, just someone that knows about the world around them and has common sense. Being a music and movie lover is a plus. We don't have to have the same exact interests, just as long as we are on the same page in life. Physically I don't have a certain look I like. Body wise, anywhere from athletic to or a few extra pounds is great, I love curves.

I'm here for dating. If someone can make my mind, body and soul do cartwheels then I would be more than willing to explore something serious with them. I'm far from desperate or lonely and not one of those guys/dogs that contacts every gal on this site, so if there's an interest sparked feel free to shoot an e mail.
