I tend to think of myself as full of contrasts. In private or with people I know well, I'm outgoing and open to anything. In crowds, I tend to be more quiet than usual. My professional interests may seem sophisticated, but when I'm relaxing I'm into simple, sometimes juvenile activities. I have a pretty quirky sense of humor, which I tend not to make apparent to those I do not know very well.

In my spare time I generally [[read]] (nonfiction, usually) or play some [[video games]], but I [[ski]] and play [[sports]] regularly. I am always up for trying something new. I've been playing [[volleyball]] and [[badminton]] regularly and I've been considering getting back into [[basketball]] after 7 or so years of avoiding it.
