Hi, I am hard working, down to earth, honest and loyal. I like to think I am pretty intelligent and like to try to experience and learn new things. I have been told by most people that I look and act a lot younger than my age (even though I do not always feel it:).

I rollerblade now and then and try to stay active and take care of myself, even though it is hard.

I'm a true gemini, the best of both worlds, lol. I am pretty clean cut, but can be rugged at times. I am as home at the library or bookstore as I am at the lake. I can enjoy a good broadway show one night and go to the dirt track races or a game the next. I can enjoy a stay at a fancy hotel one night and sleep in a tent the next. I am just as comfortable putting together a bouqet of flowers as I am swinging a hammer or building a new room. I will spend hours rummaging through a junk yard or a garage sale then clean myself up and spend the rest of the day at the mall. I am strong and protective of the people I care about, but yet soft and caring.

I have been burned pretty bad by the women in my past, but have not given up and have just taken it all as things that have made me stronger. I would still like to find someone who can be my friend, my lover, my partner and my everything in life. She must still be out there somewhere, hopefully. I am not looking for a mother, I cook, I clean and I am pretty handy around the house, so pretty good at taking care of myself. Just not much fun, doing it only for yourself.

My great grandmother taught me love does not exist in forever gazing into each other's eyes but rather facing the world hand to hand looking forward in the same direction.

I moved to this area a few years ago from Toledo and don't have many friends, but have a cat and a few fish tanks. I'm not really a bar scene guy, more of a homebody right now by circumstance, but still like to get out when I can.

I like to draw on occasion and am somewhat artistic and crafty. Not much of a sports guy, but I like to go fishing, follow my favorite college team and am game for about anything. I’m a sit by the fireplace and read or cuddle sort of guy and I am a sucker for romance and getting the "awww, I can't believe you did that for me out of the one I care for. I love to take interest in the things that interest the people I care about as well.

I have been separated for a long time now and the divorce is nearly finished. (Well into the second year) We honestly get along pretty well and have decided that the issues we had while married have taken us to believe that divorce is the solution, so we have both moved on and are still there together for the child, Life is too short for games and grudges.

I have two wonderful children, A 16 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. I have them every other weekend and couldn't imagine making them go back and forth as much as some of the shared parenting plans I have seen do. I want them to have the stability children need and know that Dad loves, misses and will be there in an instant should they need me.

I make a good living and have a nice home but pay a high amount of child support that makes everything else a little hard, but my kids are worth it. On the flip side, I put my all into everything I do, and try to make up for any shortcomings in other ways.
